POST MVA TRAUMA ASSESMENT

TMJ trauma is common as a result of whiplash-type injuries during motor vehicle accidents. The joint of the jaw becomes painful to chewing, to touch, and it can radiate to the temples and the neck as headaches. It can be treated with intraoral appliances once it is properly assessed. Often, insurance companies cover this service. The assessments are coordinated with lawyers or directed with the insurance company involved.
